Shokupan

A type of Japanese white bread, often used for toast or sandwiches. It is characterized by its soft, fluffy texture and mild flavor. The origins of shokupan are not well documented, but it is believed to have been introduced to Japan in the early 20th century, when Western-style bread-making techniques were first introduced to the country. Since then, shokupan has become a staple food in Japan and is widely consumed.

Pandesal

Spanish for "bread of salt", these rolls from the Philippines originally were made with flour, yeast, and a touch of salt. Over the years different styles enriched the bread with milk, butter, and eggs evolving the flavor profile and texture of the rolls making them the perfect companion to your morning coffee or snack.

Keeping up with the evolution, we make our pandesal rolls with grass-fed milk, grass-fed butter, and organic pasture raised eggs. Adding local flair to the tradition, we use sea salt from our beautiful Pacific coast.
